Rent Smart Co-Op and Referral Program Launches February 1

Rent Smart is excited to announce that beginning February 1, 2010 the Company will begin an exciting new program to co-op with qualified real estate companies.  The Company will offer cooperative compensation on most of the available company exclusive and managed listings.

Now, Realtors and Brokerage firms that do not regularly handle a high volume of rental clients can take advantage of Rent Smart's vast database of available properties while retaining their individual client relationship.  The advantage to Realtors is that more properties are available to be shown and the chances for closing a transaction with your client are greatly increased.  More importantly, because many Realtors and firms are not equipped to handle rental transaction (e.g. running credit reports, employment checks, prior landlord history, lease preparation, etc.) completing such transactions becomes burdensome and often results in lost deals.  Now, Rent Smart does all the processing work for you! 

Two options are available:

1.  Register and Refer Your Client.  Rent Smart does all the work, from showing to closing.  You receive a 25% referral commission.

2.  Register and Co-Op.  You schedule and participate in all showings of available properties through a cooperating Rent Smart agent.  Rent Smart takes care of all processing and you have the lease executed.  You receive 50% referral commission.

Rent Smart believes that offering to co-op with select companies will increase our client's inventory exposure and increase the volume of closed transactions for all agents.  The advantage to our landlord clients is that they will have one source for listing and updating their inventory while gaining the exposure that the full cooperative market offers.  Gone are the days of providing multiple sets of keys to multiple agencies.  Your keys will have one central depository for safe keeping.
