Is an appointment required to meet with an agent?
No, an appointment is not required for your initial meeting with an agent. But we do recommend an appointment if you wish to see specific listings and for weekend showing so that we can make sure we have access to all the properties that you want to see.

How much does this cost?
Nothing, zero, nada….$0. Our service is completely free to tenants. We are compensated by landlords when we match their property with a qualified tenant and a lease is signed. When you find an apartment that you want to rent there is a $50 application fee. This fee covers the cost of obtaining a credit check, employment verification and prior landlord verification.

How do I search for properties?
You can begin by using the search engine to the left or by calling or emailing a Rent Smart Agent, or you can always stop by one of our offices. The online database is continuously updated with new listings so check back often. By providing your Rent Smart Agent with your search criteria and contact information you can obtain updates as soon as properties matching your criteria become available.

When should I start looking?
Generally, you should begin your search 30 to 60 days prior to your desired move date as this will allow you to take the appropriate time to locate a suitable property and complete the application process. Availability of each property should be discussed with your Rent Smart Agent. In a hurry? We always have apartments that are available for immediate occupancy for qualified tenants.
