Rent Smart is Chicagoland's largest and most professional rental broker.  At Rent Smart we are always looking for talented, energetic individuals to join our team.  We are Chicago's fastest growing rental locator with over 150 agents and five locations located throughout Chicago.  Our agents work with area landlods and match their properties with prospective tenants.  Agents are responsible for working with landlords to list their properties for rent and for marketing and showing those properties to prospective tenants.  We have put in place a fantastic system and team approach to the services we offer.  Our agents are equipped with the latest technology and a database of properties that is unmatched elsewhere.  We will train you and teach you the techniques that will help you build a successful career in real estate.  We encourage all leasing agents to become licensed sales agents so that you may grow with our company and enjoy a full-service real estate career.

In order to join our team, you must have the following:

• A reliable and presentable vehicle

• Insurance

• Cell phone

• Laptop computer (preferred)

• Business casual attire

Upon starting, you will be temporarily licensed as a student leasing agent for 120 days (unless you already hold a real estate sales license).  Within that period, you must secure your leasing agent license or your salesperson license.  Rent Smart now offers in-house courses for the salesperson license.  Courses are taught at our offices by the Chicago Real Estate Intitute and take place in the evening two days per week over a six week period.  The cost of the course is fully reimbursed by Rent Smart upon your sixth month anniversary with the company.
